We not only build our own easels – we also build custom easel trolleys / carts. After building a number of easel trolleys for our own use in storing and moving easels, we are now building easel trolleys for other organisations.
Each easel trolley is individually designed to meet the specific needs of the customer.
Our own trolleys store easels arranged front to back along the trolley. All the easels on one trolley are of the same design, so they store very efficiently. The trolley has caster wheels for easy maneuvering, and a tall wall at one end for pushing / pulling / steering the trolley.
For a U3A group we came up with a design where the easels are stored facing the side of the trolley (rather than the front or back). Again a tall wall at the back allows for pushing / pulling / steering the trolley. This easel trolley also has a wall at the front, with a pocket mounted for storing the art boards used in classes.
A local council ordered a trolley similar to the U3A design, but with some key differences needed in order to accommodate their differing easel designs.
